Produktinformationen "Myrrhe Omumbiri (Namibia)"

Diese besondere Myrrhe „Omumbiri - Commiphora wildii“ stammt aus Namibia und wird traditionell von den Frauen des Nomendenvolkes der Himba geerntet. Die Himbas produzieren aus dieser wohlriechenden Myrrhe ein Parfüm oder - mit Ocker vermischt - ein Körperpuder. Auch eine Paste zum Schutz vor der Sonne wird aus der Omumbiri-Myrrhe hergestellt. Zudem Räuchern sich die Himba regelmäßig mit diesem Harz, dass im Gegensatz zu anderen Myrrhen weniger bitter riecht.

Der Duft dieser Myrrhe ist würzig-balsamisch mit teilweise süßlich-fruchtigen Komponenten.
