Sandarak (Resina sandaraca) ist das Harz des Sandarakbaumes, eines in Nordafrika heimischen Zypressengewächses (Tetraclinis articulata). Traditionell wurde Sandarak zur Gewinnung spezieller Lacke und als Räuchermittel eingesetzt.

Sandarak eignet sich für Abendräucherungen, die beruhigen, entspannen und entkrampfen und hilft, den Stress des Tages hinter sich zu lassen. Daher ist es auch gut geeignet vor dem Zubettgehen. Sandarak ist ein gutes Räuchermittel zur Einstimmung in die Meditation. Auch zur Reinigung von Räumen wird es gerne verwendet.

Sandarak verströmt einen warmen, leicht fruchtigen, balsamischen, weihrauchähnlichen, mild-harzigen Duft.
